            Microsoft Excel 2010 has been enhanced and improved to satisfy the people in the business world. Lots of companies, jobs, and students use excel in their daily life. By updating there features and creating new tool options. For example Microsoft Excel has a 64- Bit Support, enabling you to use excel with larger data sets. The newest excel has more memory for those working with larger projects. They also have a program called Protected Mode. This allows you to be able to lock your information, so you’re not aloud to edit your work unless the editing is enabled. This enhances safety and the reinsurance that your work won’t be as easily erased. Actuaries tend to use excel multiple times during the day. The program easily enhances the speed of their work. Instead of spending time graphing by hand they are able to do it more quickly. Most people spend lots of time waiting for their computer to process complicated functions; however, with the 64-Bit support the computer will respond faster because of the efficient program and you spend less time waiting for your program to load.

Microsoft Excel 2010 retrieves pervious technology that relates to graphing technology. There are many technologies that do the same main function. As well as other technologies there are many versions of excel. Some of the same functions carry through throughout the many versions. They all carry out the same purpose that is it is a program that helps a variety of workers with graphing. They’re all meant to do graphing on a computer with more accuracy and are able to do it quicker.  

Obsoleces

            Microsoft Excel 2010 is a way quicker and more efficient way of graphing. It obsolesces graphing by hand. Graphing by hand takes up a lot of time and is not as accurate and efficient as the excel programs. By making a new way to eliminate graphing by hand we are able to complete our tasks faster and save a lot of time. Graphing by hand is time consuming project and can be easily made mistakes. Excel is able to do the same function faster, as well as being able to complete math problems without having to do it by hand. Actuaries are always assigned to balance many tasks at once, and with the advantage of a quicker way of graphing they are able to get all their tasks done faster. Microsoft Excel 2010 has been updated to be a better version of the previous version of Excel created. This reverses the old version of Excel created in 2007. People always want the newest and most technologically advanced programs available for business; accordingly, when a newer version is created the old version becomes obsolete. With the newest versions out for the open, the older versions are more forgotten and less used. It takes away the purpose of the older versions, therefore reversing the role and purpose of the older excels.

Microsoft Excel 2010 was created so you don’t have to think through things, but are able to complete your tasks without figuring it out. Microsoft Excel has the advantage of doing the way for the person. Excel was created for people to be able to type in a formula, with the computer doing the work and not having to figure it out by themselves. It reverses the need to memorize the complicated mathematical formulas or even to understand complicated mathematics. With this advantage of Excel doing everything for you, it can also be a disadvantage. You loose your skill to think and follow through a equation or problem.
